Soy ingeniera industrial, trabajé durante 15 años en empresas privadas en equipos de I+D (1998-2013). Durante este período, contribuí en la publicación de 12 patentes y participé en más de 16 proyectos de investigación como líder de proyecto. Trabajé en centros de investigación privados, como el centro de investigación Electrolux en Estocolmo (6 meses) y el de Valeo en Francia (20 meses). Además de desarrollar mi vocación científica, aprendí a trabajar con equipos multinacionales y multifuncionales y a mejorar mis habilidades de liderazgo. También me permitió trabajar en un entorno internacional, con clientes por todo el mundo, como PSA (Francia), Ford (Inglaterra), Toyota (Bélgica), Nast (China). Fui profesora a tiempo completo (2013-2022) en el Centro Universitario de la Defensa en el Grado en Ingeniería Organizacional Industrial, donde he impartido más de 1700 horas de clase. He dirigido 19 TFGs, codirigido 3 TFMs internacionales y 1 en Unizar y evaluado 53 proyectos de estudiantes como miembro de TFG. Actualmente estoy dirigiendo dos tesis doctorales sobre la metodología del ACV aplicada a sistemas energéticos y co-dirigiendo una sobre eficiencia energética y calidad de aire interior en edificios. Me doctoré en 2017 con la tesis doctoral sobre eficiencia energética en edificios, defendida bajo la mención de Doctorado Internacional, obteniendo Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado por la Universidad de Zaragoza. Realicé una estancia de investigación predoc de 3 meses en la Universidad de Guanajuato (México) y dos estancias postdoc de 3 meses cada una en la Universidad Federal de Paraíba (Brasil, 2022 y 2025). He obtenido la acreditación de profesor titular por la ANECA y tres sexenios de investigación concedidos por la CNEAI y por la ACPUA. Actualmente, soy investigadora (beca Ramón y Cajal desde 01/12/2022) dentro del Grupo GITSE de la Universidad de Zaragoza (T55_23R) que forma parte del I3A. Durante mi periodo predoc mi investigación estuvo centrada en la eficiencia energética en edificios, incluyendo la reducción de la demanda y del consumo energético teniendo en cuenta las implicaciones constructivas, los equipos HVAC y la recuperación de calor e incluyendo la integración de nuevas formas de generación de energía más limpias y respetuosas con el medio ambiente. En mi investigación postdoc, comencé a trabajar en la implementación del ACV, con el objetivo de integrar y generalizar el uso y conocimiento de las herramientas ambientales en cualquier investigación. Me apasionan los proyectos de investigación orientados a desarrollar e implementar acciones para mitigar el cambio climático y minimizar el impacto ambiental. He publicado más de 20 artículos científicos, recibiendo más de 400 citas según Scopus (índice H=13). He sido Miembro del Comité Organizador en la 6ª Conferencia Internacional sobre Poligeneración (Oct 2021, 200 participantes, 30 países). He participado en 4 proyectos de investigación (655m€) del Programa Nacional de Investigación, 2 PI de convocatorias de la UE (645m€) y 15 PI (201m€) de convocatorias competitivas. Participo activamente en dos grupos de trabajo internacionales de la Agencia Internacional de la Energía. Me gusta colaborar en actividades de divulgación científica, como la iniciativa 11F en torno al día internacional de la mujer y la niña en la ciencia y en ‘Una ingeniera en cada cole’ para visibilizar el trabajo de las mujeres y ayudar a crear referentes femeninos cercanos entre las más jóvenes.
